We have used Point Control to produce our perfect bound
publications for several years. The full colour Marine World magazine demonstrates
why we use them best. This high quality publication used to
be saddlestitched in house, however the number of pages it contained gradually
began to increase and we knew from our previous experience of perfect bound products
from Point Control, that the thicker format would look better perfect bound. With
some samples of previous work carried out by Point Control we persuaded our customer
to publish a perfect bound edition. The magazine has a very
tight schedule as it has a mailing deadline that is not negotiable. Once we receive
the content from our customer we print and fold the job as quickly as possible.
The folded sections are then submitted to Point Control to collate and perfect
bind, we collect finished magazines as soon as they come off Point Control’s
binder and they are mailed out on the same day. Our customer
is delighted with their perfect bound version and every edition since has been
